My favorite video game of all time has to be Lord of the Rings Online. It has to be one of the best MMORPGs that I've played... because who doesn't want to be a hobbit running around in the Shire?!? I have played plenty of MMORPGs (Ashen Empire, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Elder Scrolls Online are a few of my other haunts) but I will always go back to LotRO. The graphics are dated but it just feels like home.

That's a frightening endorsement! The only VR game I have played is Saber Beats(?), but it was fun. Does the VR make you dizzy/nauseous at all? I went to a group VR event many many years ago, and the experience left me dizzy.

Yes I had to get the settings right and like sea sickness get used to the motion.  Now not bothered by it.  Dont not stand either playing it does not go well. Search Youtube videos of people playing Alien Isolation in VR.  I can confirm the screams are real.  The game is 10 years old and has its own AI and the alien also has its own AI.  To put it another way if you find the alien scary in the films imagine it systematically hunting you personally down.  I spent a good half of the 30mins hiding in lockers.  But even then it will eventually find you.  Soundscape and atmosphere are spot on to the films also.  Well worth a try even without VR.
