1200? Wow you went all out. I had that dumb coupler modem that would get half that if it was a clear night and the moon aligned with Mars.

And BBS-ing on a 1200-baud modem instead of what online gaming has become...
1983/4 it was playing Adventure (text-based D&D variant written by a midshipman, I think) on the old mainframe terminals

Oh, the days of monochromatic 8-pixel squares!

I didn't think I could name Trade Wars because it was completely text-based :-)

Showing my age, but I still like the old text-based programs like Dungeon and Hitchhiker's Guide. I loved playing Alpiner on my TI-99/4A. To tell the truth, I don't have time for games because I am always learning something new about Genesys each and every day.

Do we have any video game lovers out there? From hanging out in the community for the last few years, I know the answer to that question is a resounding yes!!
So I want to know...
What is your favorite video game of all time? It can be from Atari to your phone. Tell us why you're so addicted.
Currently, I'm playing Mario and Luigi Brothership on Nintendo Switch. It's been pretty fun. I love the simplicity of the game and the story is fun for someone who isn't a heavy gamer. It's also nice because I can't keep up with a lot of button hitting and this strikes the balance for me.
But my favorite video game of all time has to be the Lego Harry Potter series - it's so funny, engaging, easy to learn and fun with co-op! And if you love the world of HP, then it does not disappoint. I played this game on the Playstation, but I know it's out there for more consoles.
Now it's your turn: Answer this question and you'll get three extra points in the new Trivia Tower event that is all about video games. So head over there and participate if you haven't already. There's a prize in it for the winner from our epic Prize Wall!
Please review the Community's new Rules and Regs to understand how winners are awarded. Also, we know you know this, but I have to repeat: NO GOOGLING answers. We want fair play for everyone.
You have until Friday, Jan. 31st by end-of day to get your answers in!
Good luck leveling up!
