  • 1.  WhatsApp Integration - Voice Calls

    Does the Genesys WhatsApp Integration support voice calls from a WhatsApp user to a Genesys WhatsApp Business Integration? The only Genesys documentation I found references messaging. WhatsApp documents state they support voice from their user to a WhatsApp desktop app - no mention of 3rd party (Genesys) integration.

    Hello Mark, 

    This is not a feature we have in Genesys Cloud and looking into our ideas portal its under "Will not implement" https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/DIG-I-552. This is because Whatsapp does not support this within its business platform yet.

    Hello Cameron,

    Simple google search   whatsapp call sip trunk    provides at least few options for SIP trunk integrations. 
    Your mentioned DIG-I-552 Idea address different customer demands - message related like sticker, attached voice message,... , not simple voice call.
