  • 1.  Click-to-dial for Genesys Desktop Application

    Is there a way to configure our Genesys Click-to-Dial for the desktop Application to call out via queue.  We need our call outs recorded, so they need to be originated from the Genesys application, within a queue.  I am not finding any way to do this ( Configure click-to-dial - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com) ) within the application, but wanted to double check with others.

    How do you mean from your desktop application? The link you provided looks like it references the SF Genesys widget.

    Ignore the link as I was just trying to share the information I have found so far.  Is it possible to have click-to-dial use the Genesys Application, call out from a queue?  If yes, how do we set that up?

    Hi Wendy,

    We would like to have this feature as well.  An idea (Desktop app - prompt for queue on click | Genesys Cloud Ideas Portal (aha.io)) has been submitted for this.
