    Somebody know what means the error code "error.ininedgecontrol.session.inactive" appear on the Interactions View


    I wish that somebody can help me

    Hi Gladys

    My understanding is this is basically situations where the customer ended their call before the Edge (Genesys Cloud) could.  So it's just saying the session that it tried to end was inactive.

    Gladys,

     We posed the same question to GenCare and this was their response "error code  "error.ininedgecontrol.session.inactive" means the user had trouble connecting to the edge which could certainly cause the call to drop and or experience call quality issues. This is usually indicating the user having some sort of network problem or a blip in their network at the time which caused the edge connection issue."

    This is a common issue with our agents in our Baja, Mexico call center. You may want to find out if the internet carrier for the impacted agents has connectivity issues.
