Windows 11 Support

    With Windows 11 on the way, can you advise when the pureCloud Desktop App will be certified and supported on Windows 11?

    From experience, I have NEVER seen Genesys or ININ support or certify products and platforms before they are officially released and tested against that release.  I personally have been running Windows 11 for about 3-4 months and have had no problems with Genesys Cloud either in the browser or with the app, but that is nowhere near an official stamp of approval for Windows 11.

    Product documentation still shows "Windows- 7, 8, and 10".  My impression is there is no certification per-se and users should conduct their own testing to assure the product is stable within their own environment.  Given the diverse variables of system setup, that makes sense.
    However it would be desirable to have some assurance that the Desktop App had been tested on Windows 11 and deemed compatible with that OS.

    I have been running on Windows 11 for half a year now with no issues aside from some Chrome update that later fixed itself.  

    I also did testing with Windows 365 and all worked fine.  

    Not exactly "official support", but I can say it works.

    Did you find some issues with the Embedded Framework in Windows 11?  I have used it with no problems.  What were you embedded in?

    So this is a Genesys Cloud for Service Now Integration. I am checking with another user who was facing issues with using Windows 11 in the embedded client for Salesforce. Not sure if it is the root cause of the audio issue but it appeared to be a pattern.

    Yes, audio is different.  Make sure you setup audio profiles in Genesys.
