  • 1.  Adding Skill Proficiency on the Bulk Import

    Does anyone know if there is a way to add the proficiency of a skill on the Bulk User Import CSV? I tried with a dash but that did not work.

    Yes, when you define the information in Excel before writing to a CSV, use "English,Spanish,Chinese" in that column.  Same for roles et al.  Multiple entries need to be comma delimited and encapsulated in quotes.

    I need to find out if there is a way to add the proficiency, like a 1 star, 5 star, etc.

    Not at this time.  What you can do is import the skills then multiple-select the users in People and change the skill/skill level all at the same time, but that will apply the same to all selected users.  

    Other option is to list all the users in a file and use PostMan to change using 

    /api/v2/users/{userId}/routingskills/bulk

    "proficiency": {}
    }

    Angie,

    The info I am seeing on a support case from a year ago indicates you should be able to import skills with proficiency by using a colon between the skill and the proficiency and a comma or a space between skills.

    For example, in the Skills column:

    Skill1:5,Skill2:3,Skill3:2,Skill4:4

    It worked in my org, hopefully will work for you.
