  • 1.  Agent has not HRIS time-off affiliation for activity code time-off

    Posted 04-03-2025 02:11

    Description:-

Getting an error as "Agent has not HRIS time-off affiliation for activity code time-off" which is not restricting us to submit the time-off request but its of no use if the agent submit as it is not going to reflect in HRIS.

When we add an agent to a MU and tried to submit the time-off request, we are getting the above error as highlighted "Agent has not HRIS time-off affiliation for activity code time-off".

After doing some research, we found adding the agent with integration resolving this error. Below are the steps.

    1.      Click on Edit HRIS for the respective agent.

    2.      We can see there is no HRIS linked to the agent. Now click on override agent id.

    3.      Select the HRIS integration which we have already created and enter the agent id column with agent email id.

Post these steps the error is not appearing while submitting the time-off request.

Q1. Why do we need to explicitly add/select the integration for each agent in the MU. Is this expected or am i missing something here. Kindly advise.

Q2. Is there any other alternative we can avoid this as this is not practical to ask our client to follow the above steps every time when they add new agent to a MU.

    Hi,

You'll find details on the agent sync process in the blueprint documentation: https://developer.genesys.cloud/blueprints/wfm-hris-blueprint/#hris-get-agents-flow

In a typical deployment, this process runs every 24hrs, querying HRIS to retrieve agent emails and HRIS ID for agents. These are then synced with WFM agents when the retrieved email matches the Genesys Cloud email and the HRIS integration is automatically associated.

The manual process of adding the ID needs to be used if the agent sync is disabled in the integration or the get-agents workflow is not functioning properly.
