Disclaimer: I am still rookie in Genesys Cloud. I know there is at least a date picker in the script, that should prevent input like 30th February. Maybe from there you find a way to convert it into your format?
The reason I was triggered by your thread title is a different one. In our previous scripting solution (Callscripter) we were able to modify the schedule to block weekends, holidays etc so that agents were forced to select only inside office hours. This kind of input restriction I am searching for..
Let's see what others might contribute.
@saravanan, if you create an Idea, please post it here, so that I can follow it. Formats of values have been an issues for us as we were working bilinguale and Genesys UI & scripting brings some surprises if you aren't experienced ;)
