  • 1.  Agent to Agent Chat APIs

    Hello!

    I am working on a project that will allow us to send chat survey data from AWS Lex to a chat group within Genesys Cloud.  We are having issues with getting this to work within the Genesys Developer App.  We reviewed this website (Genesys Cloud Developer Center).

    We also reviewed this link How to send message to a group using API.

    Neither is clear as when we attempt to send a message it does not work.

    Anyone have any helpful comments of how we can accomplish this?

    You'll need to setup a Generic Webhook integration in Admin->Integrations: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/set-up-an-integration-using-the-generic-webhook/.  Once you follow the directions in that article to setup that webhook, you should be able to send messages to it and they should show up in the group.  What you are wanting to do certainly works as we do the same thing here, when someone posts a question on the Genesys Cloud Developer Center forum we post that into a chat group in Genesys Cloud so that we are notified when that post occurs.
