Hi,

For some reason my AI Studio when calling my data action is not returning the same value as if I execute the data action manually.

For example the AI Studio capture street number and postal code properly and combine both variable into a single variable call SearchTerm (Same input variable name as in the data action).

I'm able to confirm that the combine value is "5820H1K2Z7".

The AI Studio respond after calling the data action is: 5820 Main Street - Anytown, ON, H1K 2Z7

The data action respond when running it manually is: 5820 Av Azilda - Anjou, QC, H1K 2Z7

I can't understand where the discrepancy is coming from....

Hi Sebastien, seeing as it also returns a completely different province in AI Studio, and the "Anytown", how certain are you that it is actually calling the same data action?

I'm 100% certain as its the only data action proving this kind of information and its the only data action use in the prompt.

I also did another test using message flow, and again the result are not correct but this time the result is different. Look like an hallucination to me..

Are you outputting as a variable the input the guide is using just to ensure it is really using the same input?

Have you tried asking the guide to provide the exact output from the data action, unchanged and unedited. Just to be explicit about getting the raw data back?

I just did another test by being more explicit into the prompt to use raw data of the data action output. It work once and on my next try it failed again... I'm not getting the same experience from one test to the other... even the wording changes.

When you look at the Execution Data in the architect flow, what does it show in Communication and the variable values for input to and output from the Data Action?

Guides are not good for reproducing a specific format every time for a response - they are designed to be conversational, so if you want to use the exact same format every time (say, for displaying a specific address format or presenting a disclaimer message with specific wording) you need to us a Virtual Agent or standard bot functionality to do so outside of the Guide, and just use the Guide to gather information. Hybrid flow.
