    Hello AMA Participants! 

    Maisey emailed me early this morning to report that she is not able to attend the AMA today due to a family emergency that came up, but she was kind enough to find incredibly talented and knowledgable replacements to join the AMA fun. Let's meet the AMA Crew:

    @Caitlan Spronk is a senior software engineer on the Analytics UI team for Genesys Cloud. Before starting at Genesys, she completed an M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition at Purdue University, where she was the technical coordinator for the Purdue Online Writing Lab and taught technical writing and web design.

    @Drew Gaynor is a Lead Software Engineer based in Indianapolis and ha been with Genesys for 6 years working in the Analytics and Reporting area of Genesys Cloud. Drew is training for the Glass City Marathon in April. 

    My name is Matt Lawson, I'm the online community manager, and I have an ice breaker question that anyone who wants to can answer: I am a first time dog owner and truly loving the experience, but it was entirely my wife's idea and persistence that brought Marty (pictured below) into my life. What is something that you were reluctant to do, but ended up thoroughly enjoying? 

    Also, any suggestions for how to keep a dog entertained while you work are doubly appreciated.

    Speaking of marathon training, I was actually reluctant to start running and did not run competitively in high school or college. In my last year of college I picked it up, ended up loving it, and have been running ever since!

    I actually was ALSO a reluctant runner, and didn't really get into it until grad school, although I am not nearly as good as Drew--there are no marathons in my future :D

    I was also a reluctant vegetable-eater, but now I eat and love all kinds of things 15 year old me would be scandalized by.

    Caitlan! I was wondering if food would come up. I was a very picky eater growing up. I remember going to South America when I was 12 and the only thing I would eat was baked potatoes from a cart near the hotel. Now, I love trying new food and vegetables have really had a glow up since my childhood where everything was boiled or steamed. Give me all of the grilled veggies. ALL OF THEM!

    My previous house had a nature trail three minutes away and I miss jogging/walking that more than I thought I would. At the peak of covid, the trail was so crowded it became a burden and added to my eagerness to move, but it would be fun to go back and visit it now.
