Hi Duncan, we strive for bug-free releases and unfortunately with this one, we had an oversight that we didn't catch. We did months of automation testing, several internal "bug hunts", a year-long internal beta, an external beta for a few months, and internally used it in our own org, and we missed this scenario; we weren't set up to catch it unfortunately, but with that, we've started an internal review of the root cause analysis. Our teams are looking to identify every where we went wrong so that we can learn from this and do better next time.

In a recent post after the rollout problems for Workspace Analytics, someone stated "Quality Assurance team completed a rigorous testing process prior to GA release"
I'm wondering how this is possible when this bug seems so easy to reproduce by not having everyone have edit capabilities for dashboards. That seems like a pretty standard thing not to give regular agents, and clearly many customers ran into this issue. I've asked multiple people if we can get documentation on this process without a real response, so some answers from a post-mortem would be pretty helpful here.
