Hello Everyone,
I am wondering if there is an API to get notes directly based on mobile number? I was looking in external contacts api, but most useful api requires contact-ID. Please advise, and your comments are helpful.

What kind of notes are you looking for? Are you trying to retrieve external contacts?

Hello Tim, Yes, I am trying to retrieve external contacts, in order to retrieve the notes that are created by agents during interaction.

However, it sounds like what you may be looking for are the notes for a specific interaction rather than the contact notes themselves.

Dear Lucie,
Thank you for the feedback. Based on the customer request, in which the previous created notes during interactions for the callers should appear for the agent directly, I am just looking for a way to present notes based on phone number for a specific interaction such the phone call interaction since the customer would use the system mostly for phone calls.

You should also be able to use the analytics API to query for a phone number directly. You don't need to use external contacts - you certainly can but it's not a requirement.
