  • 1.  April 2023 starts on the wrong day when an agent tries to book holiday!

    Genesys Cloud on EUW2.
When an agent tries to book leave in April 2023 the April 2023 as displayed to the agent is incorrect.
1st April starts on a Saturday. In WFM it starts on a Sunday.
If you have admin WFM permissions the calendar appears correct.

Agent has logged out / in. Rebooted and cleared cache.

Anybody have any suggestions on what to check next?

    Hi Iain,

That is a strange one - I have looked for a resolution but without success, I would raise a case through Product Support if nobody here has had a similar issue.

    Thank you Tracy

This has now been reported to our supplier so will reach Genesys soon I hope.
When I get a Genesys ref number I will post it here.

    Some more information.
The issue appears to be BU/MU based.

The agents who are failing are members of a BU which has Sunday as the start date.
A time off plan exists for the MU under the BU. The MU has a weekend start day of Saturday.

When an agent tries to book time off they see the month of April displayed incorrectly within the time off window.
It should be noted that April 2024 and April 2025 also displayed in the time off window incorrectly.
    Other months are OK.

If I use another BU which was defined but is not used for production agents I get a different result.
This BU has a start day of Monday. It has a MU under it but no time off plan (since it's not used for production)
This displays correctly. Note: start day is different and no time off indicators.

So it appears to be a "BU/MU/what day did you configure the start of your working week to be" problem.

As mentioned above, our integration partner should be reporting this to Genesys.

Here is a video showing the issue.
    • A new BU is created with a start day of Sunday
    • A new MU is created under the BU. Weekend start day set to Saturday
    • Move a test agent into the MU
    • Click time off window
    • April 2023 shown as starting on Saturday , not Sunday
    BU starting on a Sunday

The Video was shot on our test ORG.

I would be interested to see if anybody else is having these issues.
There must be holiday requests for May going through.
