  • 1.  Assistance Needed: Clear Button Functionality Issue in Genesys Cloud Cx Script

    Hello everyone - I'm working on a script in Genesys Cloud Cx. I've created a button named 'Clear'. However, when agents click it, the inputs they've entered in the script are not being cleared. I'd appreciate some assistance with this in the Genesys community. Thank you!

    What action have you associated with the button? 

    I would create a Custom Action that assigns empty values to all of the variables associated with the inputs. (Of course, if it's only one input, the Custom Action isn't needed, you can just assign the value directly.

    Hi Paul - Thank you for answering my query. I've uploaded the test script we created. I'm encountering an issue where agents are unable to clear the values they've updated in the questions, specifically with radio buttons, checkboxes, and numeric fields, when they click the clear button.

    I kindly request your assistance in configuring the clear button correctly to ensure it resets these values as expected.
