    The Genesys Agent Assist team is proud to announce that it is now recruiting candidates that are interested in using our AI-enabled automatic knowledge capabilities for voice-based interactions. As a reminder, the current GA release of Agent Assist supports digital only. Those that choose to participate in this beta will also have the ability to use our in-market digital capabilities. The beta is English-only.

    What is the pricing for the Agent Assist Voice feature? The documentation only currently has Digital pricing. Does the pricing apply for use during the Beta too?

    You would need to enable Agent Assist which would incur a digital only cost of $15. We don't charge for the voice part in BETA. Also note there's a 30 day free trial of Agent Assist on AppFoundry.

    Is there an intention when this goes GA that customers not wanting knowledge surfacing will have the manual agent assist search for voice without having to uplift to the agent assist add on?

    Yes when we go GA, for GC2 and GC3 customers manual search for voice will work without the add-on

    The feature that we have in BETA now uses Genesys Native Transcription Engine, it works similarly to the integration with Google in that agents can view the transcript alongside the knowledge suggestions

    Have filled-up form for Org, to enable Agent Assist Voice BETA,

    Customer is awaiting to have a look for Genesys Agent Assist Voice in their Own Org, 

    Can you please support to get it enabled for the Org? this is something we stuck in UAT, need your support urgently,

    We have already purchased Agent Assist feature for Customer Org, but unfortunately Only Digital option available in current GA, So i believed that, in next week it will get enable for Voice as well in for our Org.

    Is it correct?

    Formal release is very close, but unfortunately isn't on track for this week. We should be able to make a formal announce shortly. We will have two options:

    • Digital Only
    • Omni (voice and digital)

    We do not offer a voice only option. Pricing will be released when we achieve GA -- which is imminent. @Sean Rooney for any additional thoughts.

    Jane for those of us on the Beta, will the real-time agent assist be disabled so we go back to just being able to manually search articles until we add/pay for the real-time subscription?

    Those that want to continue to use Agent Assist Voice post beta will need to purchase it. Those that do not purchase (or have not purchased it already) will have that capability/SKU removed from their org.

    The transcription "tab" is at the bottom of the knowledge and canned responses and doesn't have much screen real estate there.  So you only at best get to see maybe a sentence or couple of sentences at a time.  Maybe that's by design but it doesn't seem ideal.

    Can you email me a screenshot of your setup. They transcription tab shouldn't be at the bottom. It appears to the side of the agent assist panel (see attached) and can be expanded and collapsed

    I can't seem to get the view you have there Sean.

    EDIT: Okay I do see now but that view is only available if you view the interaction in a single panel:

    So possibly I just missed that point in the notes somewhere?

    @Sean Rooney & @Jane Hendricks - Thanks for the update on the pricing and clarity around it being "both digital/voice or only digital."

    Can you also clarify if we can purchase/license Agent Assist for X number of named users (i.e. so we can only apply it to those lines of business/departments who want to use it), or if we must buy a license for every named agent in our org?

    Asking because we have 4000+ named users in our org, but only a fraction of them are in a position to use Agent Assist at this time.

    No you do not need to buy for every agent in your org. You can buy for x amount. Also we will only charge you for those that use it.

    Hi Jane, how are you?

    We need to test it here, we have many requests for the feature, however, customers use it for both voice and media, it has been an impediment to full migration, I registered some customers in the Beta, just to be able to prove that this feature is already in progress and improvement.

    I need to release it in my Org for demonstrations, I already asked! ;-)

    Is there an expectation of the Portuguese language?

    Hi @Rita Henllembart here is the language support page that includes Agent Assist: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/genesys-cloud-supported-languages/

    It shows Portuguese as supported (this is for text). The goal is to have the same language support across all channels. Please send me an email at jane.hendricks@genesys.com and I can see if there is a way to get your org enabled for the beta if that hasn't happened yet.

    I note that Agent Assist for Voice only does transcription and knowledge surfacing. The UI for transcription needs more refinement i think i.e it is squashed at the bottom and it will benefit from exposing additional data beyond transcript only.

    Is conversation summary for voice going to be part of this or will it be tracked as a seperate beta?

    I concur with this.... having the transcription squashed down like that makes it borderline unusable.  I don't know what the solution is, maybe some tabbed interface within the assistant instead of trying to cram suggestions/kb, canned responses and transcription all in the same place - where I assume you'll also eventually try to squeeze in the summarization?

    I have had this issue among others. Most times that has this issue is if i forget to click on the agent assist button and then click on it part way through the conversation, it fails to initialise properly.
