  • 1.  Bot Flow - No Intent Use case

    I am trying to understand how to use the No Intent option in Ask For Intent action in Bot flow. My initial thought was that it was a place for undefined utterances to go to until they can be reviewed and moved to an active intent, however, when I try to pass an undefined utterance, the No Match settings kick in and nothing reaches the No Intent path I have defined.

    Has anyone used the No Intent option in a bot flow and if so, how are you using it?

    Hi Eric

    My understanding is the No Intent path is only usable for voice bots, for message/chat bots it is not used at all.
    And is there for when the customer doesn't say anything, you can then either repeat the question or send them to a queue etc.
