you need to develop your WhatsApp Bot into a Digital Bot Flow and call it from an Inbound Message Flow. After that, Messaging Platforms is where you can connect Genesys to a WhatsApp number on META (including creating a new one) and with Message Routing you can associate the created Message Platform (or multiple numbers) with your Inbound Message Flow.

After attending the Genesys Roadmap Webinar, I'm curious about how we can leverage Genesys to build WhatsApp bots.
I've previously built WhatsApp bots using various BSPs and the Meta Cloud API. My specific question is: once we link our Meta account with Genesys, how do we create a WhatsApp-specific bot?
Will there be a new bot type available in Architect for WhatsApp? Currently, we have options like inbound message flow and digital bot flow but considering the limitations of WhatsApp buttons and list messages etc, I'm curious about how the drag-and-drop functionality for building WhatsApp bots in Architect will look like.
Also, will Copilot work for WhatsApp interactions?
Is there any documentation available that outlines the development process for WhatsApp bots?
