  • 1.  BYOC EDGE Configuration

    Hi everyone,

    I am currently seting up BYOC Premise - Customer Hardware Solution Edge in our enviornment but we are having the following issue.

    We are on HPE Proliant DL360 Gen11 with Genesys recommanded specs.

    We have followed the steps below regarding the RAID 1 confuguration but we are still getting the error below.

    Note: The Customer Hardware Solution – Small requires three (3) internal hard drives. The BYOC Premises – Customer Hardware Solution installer sets up two of the hard drives in a RAID 1 configuration and then sets up the third hard drive for support purposes. More specifically, the third drive stores local media used for factory image restoration and provides space for over-the-air operating system upgrades.

    Note : We have made the setup for more than 30 HPE Proliant Microserver V2 and we did not get this issue.

    With the recipe, you have to follow it to the "T".  Every component must be the same as what is listed in the resource article and set up exactly as they want it set up.  Any deviation would be the cause of this failure message.  I would guess this list would be easier to follow:  https://www.foodrepublic.com/1354881/most-difficult-dishes-make-from-scratch/
