  • 1.  BYOC Genesys - Vodafone certificate renewal

    Posted 10-06-2022 08:19
    Hi!
I currently use Genesys with Vodafone as a carrier and a certificate is about to expire, so I have to renew it and I don't quite understand the procedure.
Vodafone sends me a .csr file that they have to install on their SBC and they ask me to sign it. Do I have to sign this file with one of the certification authorities, such as DigiCert, and then Vodafone install it on their SBC?
In Genesys do I need to do any additional configuration?

    Thanks!

Pretty much.  You will load the certificate into Genesys Cloud and use that on the trunk for TLS.  Unfortunately, there is not a step-by-step guide, but this does tell you about the certs TLS trunk transport protocol specification - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)

This talks about loading the certs which is what you are really asking about:  Configure certificate authorities - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)
