    I try to download call recordings for conversations. I get 2 separated files for each conversation: one on caller and the other on callee. It's impossible to follow the conversation. How do I merge 2 files into one?

    Also, what is the format of the recording files? Is it wav or mp3 or webm?

    Hi Tom,

    There are various tools and libraries that can merge recordings after download. Or, your org can switch the line recording option on the external trunk to not use dual-channel:

    After this Dual Channel setting is disabled, does this get into effect since this moment on?

    If I try to retrieve previous recordings, do I still get 2 separated recordings for each conversation (instead of one combined recording)?

    It will affect new recordings only; older recordings will still be two files.
