I work in an organisation that has several in-house applications that I would like to integrate into the Purecloud environment, so that all users log on to PureCoud, and ALL our in-house applications can be accessed from the PureCloud site. Is there a way that we can achieve this?

There is a client addin API that is currently in development. It will allow you to embed iframed content via the top or side navigation to load as a sidebar on the left (like chat) or as a full-page app on the right (like a directory page). I've seen some internal demos of it, but I don't know when the target release date is. I will update this thread if I can find an answer.

The client addin API is currently scheduled for a Q3 release. You can begin preparing by ensuring that your applications will function inside of an iframe.

@tim.smith, is there any update to this? Since it's still listed on the roadmap I assume this isn't GA yet, but do we have an updated tentative schedule?

@RogierBosch, @SherwinF and @NerishaBV - The feature we are developing is tentatively known as Apps or PureCloud Apps. My name is Zach Hinkle, I am the Product Manager responsible for this feature. Our development team is very focused on landing some base functionality in 2017 Q2 timeframe, at a minimum in Limited Availability. Let me know if you have specific examples of apps you'd like to embed within PureCloud. I am very keen to hear what people want to do with the capability!

Hi Zachary.

Thank you for getting back to us. We have a custom application that we have designed in HTML5 that we would like to integrate with the PureCloud Interface. As we have spent many years developing our in-house system, it would not make sense to start it from scratch, and we would like the users to open one system, ideally the PureCloud app, and have a tab that can open our custom application so the users do not have to fumble around multiple systems to complete their daily tasks.

Please let me know if you require further details in this regard.

Rogier - We're checked into Prod and are conducting tests. We will likely release it, then quickly release the SDK afterwards.
