  • 1.  CANCEL SIP request is not captured

    CANCEL SIP request is not captured in Genesys Cloud SIP traces only for Inbound calls.

    I have checked both JSON and PCAP, CANCEL and OK response are missing; however, 487 followed by ACK are in SIP ladder.

    Cancel request and response are not captured
    Anyone facing same kind of issue?
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Assign DID to Genesys User.
    2. Remove default greeting for that user, so that caller will get ring back tone.
    3. Call the DID from PSTN
    4. Disconnect the call while Genesys user ringing.
    5. Get the logs interaction window

    Hello 

    Could you let me know where you are getting this SIP pcap from? Is it from the sipDiagnostics.pcap link in the Interaction?

    Hello Saravanan,

    If you have not done so already, I would recommend reaching out to Product Support and having that team investigate the issue. They should be able to see if there are CANCEL / OK SIP messages being sent from any of the devices in the chain.
