Genesys Cloud CX - Beta HQ

Some time ago, there were always several Betas listed on the Beta HQ page for Partners and customers to take part in.  There was a sign-up process to be included.  I notice now that when I go to the Beta HQ page, I never see any Betas available to test. Has the process changed? Is this now done through Genesys User Experience Research? Just curious. Thanks.

Well...when Betas are offered they should show up in the Beta Carousel on the Home page of this community...I haven't explored internally to see why none is listed right now...

I currently manage the content that shows up in the Beta Carousel and as of right now, there are no public Betas that are actively recruiting. We do have a form that our PM team can fill out so that we can display their Beta in the Carousel for recruiting but, like I said, we currently do not have any in the pipeline yet. There has been some internal discussion about this and I believe someone else will post the plans for the future soon.

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for the feedback. I spoke with the PM that is running that Beta and it was not something that they wanted to recruit amongst the entire Genesys Community. They posted the recruitment form within the Product Ideas Lab for that Idea to recruit customers who were following the idea closely, or anyone who had participated in Phase 1.

We are still working with leadership on a better way for Beta opportunities to be advertised within the Community.

So still just the 1 Beta this year and we are 4 months through already. Is the Beta program discontinued?

I would like to announce that in the next two weeks, we will have a new Beta running and I highly recommend that you keep an eye on the Beta HQ carousel! Once I have the new tile published in the Carousel, I will post a reminder in this thread.

Would it not be more efficient and productive to suggest that anyone interested subscribe to updates to the Beta HQ community instead of us thinking we need to read through the plethora of threads here to get the information?  The problem with your approach is we will start getting Beta discussions like the Multi-contextual Panel ones here instead of in the Beta HQ community.

I'm not sure what you mean? This is the Beta HQ Community (although your point about having to read through all the threads is valid!) Even subscribing to the digest isn't very helpful, since if you want to know what is currently in Beta, you would have to go back and review multiple digests.

This is why the carousel at the top of the page when you first enter the community is so helpful!

There have been way too many beta discussions in the main community that that tends to confuse clients of what is actually available and what is still in testing.
