Hi Robert,
I am in the East region. Now that I have had some more time to dig into this, it actually appears that this only happens after you reach some historical point for the data. If you look at my screen shot, you will see that I was looking for calls from November 20th 2020. Today, if I search and filter calls for November 23, 2020 to current, I do not see this functionality. If I look for calls prior to that date I get the prompt to apply my filters. I'm guessing it has something to do with the Analytics change that was put in on 12/16/2020 as it lines up with the 558 day rule that is mentioned:
On December 16th 2020 Genesys Cloud pushed a change that altered the way that Analytics data older than 558 days is made available. Full details can be found in the announcement on the Resource Center (https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/analytics-conversation-detail-endpoint-api-query-change/), but a short summary is below.
Before this change the analytics endpoint /api/v2/analytics/conversations/details/query could be used to pull back data on any conversationID, no matter how old.
After this change only data 558 days, or newer can be pulled via the endpoint /api/v2/analytics/conversations/details/query. To pull data older then 558 days a new endpoint, /api/v2/analytics/conversations/details/jobs, must be used.
So I guess this isn't a big deal...just interesting that the functionality changes based on a time frame.
Thanks!

Interesting. I don't see the same in East or West. What region are you in? Mine still shows old behavior. Did you sign up for some beta UI?

Does anyone else now have to click Apply when changing filters in the Workspace? Just today I noticed that I am now prompted to click Apply before the changes to my filters are made. Not a terrible thing, but something I wasn't expecting.
