  • 1.  Changing a Leave type to another Leave type issue

    Hi,

    I don't know whether this has already been posted but I've come across this issue a few times now. If I want to change someone's leave request from annual leave to TOIL for instance it asks me to re-estimate the amount of leave. However as they don't have a schedule any more it always recalculates the paid time to 0. 

    At the moment i just cancel the leave and resubmit it as the new type of leave but it would be good if it could calculate the time off based on their work plans rather than what is scheduled.

    Hi James, 

    You are correct. Once the leave is inserted into the schedule, the system removes the schedule and therefore no longer are the hours associated with that day. Since the schedule is generated, the system doesn't look at the work plan to see what the agent would normally work. I agree this behavior should be addressed because as you have noticed, if you change the request, it now shows '0 payable' hours.
