  • 1.  Chat bot not appearing on the customers site

    i have created a web messaging configuration and deployment and it is working using all domains via the Genesys webchat developer tool and i can put chats through to an agent.. When we have tried to configure it running on specified domains only and have copied the code snippet onto the website pages we would like the Messenger to appear on nothing appears on the customers website to be able to trigger the chat. Is there any reason why nothing would appear ?.

    Did you format the domain correctly?  I think I ran into a problem with subdomains and had to add them manually.  Also, you might try https:// in front of the domain.  Finally, check the domain to see if it is coming from one domain, but showing another.

    Hello Richard,

    Does it work on the website if you allow "All domains" ?

    Otherwise it might be CORS that's blocking the loading of the widget.
    If that's the case you should see that in the Console logs on the browser when you go to the website where the chat should be.

    EDIT: Keep mixing these up, it could be CSP blocking it :)
