    Hi everyone!

    In the coming weeks, Co-browse for Web Messaging will receive an update to the toolbar seen and used by the customer, or sharer, of the Co-browse session. This improvement will replace the existing Co-browse "control panel" seen by the customer with a more modern and mobile-friendly toolbar that can be drag-and-dropped to ensure it does not block any important elements on your website! You can see the new toolbar below, which supports all of the same actions available to the customer today. Additional actions will appear in the toolbar based on the current state of the session.

    With this change, if the agent sends an additional request to the sharer requesting control of their browsing, this will be displayed within Messenger, regardless of whether Messenger is currently displaying the web messaging conversation, Homescreen, or the Knowledge App. Even if Messenger is collapsed, this request will appear in the same area as Messenger, though Messenger will stay collapsed. See the Homescreen example below:

    One final improvement that is included with these toolbar updates is the added support for agents to Request Navigation. Even if the agent does not have control over the sharer's browsing, the agent can request the sharer to navigate to a specific URL of the website. The request will appear in a similar way as shown above, and if approved the customer's browser will navigate to the desired page and the agent's view will follow along.

    I will update this post when a final date is confirmed, but we are expecting this update to take effect in early to mid October. There are no admin changes required in order to gain this new functionality.
