    HI Team,

    I'm wondering, if we'd like to accommodate 100 SIP concurrent channels, do we need an additional 100 channels for recording purposes for both in Genesys Cloud? Could someone please help me understand?

    Genesys Cloud is based on microservices running on AWS EC2 with auto-scaling.  In laymen's terms, that means virtually unlimited resources.  Each new ORG in Genesys Cloud is usually provisioned with 2 dedicated Edge devices with approximately 350 sessions each.  Recording and trunks can share these resources.  As your usage increases, Genesys can add more Edge devices to your ORG.  The only limit you might run into is with your BYOC Carrier who may only allow you up to 100 or so trunks.
