Hello, I have a data table where I have 3 different agent's email addresses listed in columns that correspond to the key ANI. The intent is -- look up the caller's phone number in the data table, and retrieve the three preferred agents. There isn't a way to have a USER type variable in the data table.
I'm able to retrieve the data, but when I try to use the Transfer to ACD action - it will not let me use the variables to assign as Preferred Agents because they are STRING values and not USER.
I search both Google and this forum, and found that back in November '16 it was not possible. Surely, they've fixed that by now, haven't they?
I would prefer NOT to have the USER ID in the data tables.
Is there a way to convert a STRING to USER in Architect?

You should be able to use a Find User action in the architect flow to search for your user by email address. The output of that action will be a User variable and can be used in an agent score pair list.
