    Hi,

    In the outbound dialer, I don't want duplicate leads to be uploaded. i.e. in a campaign suppose if a lead with phone no 123 is present, if I upload a contact list again, it shouldn't upload any leads with phone no 123. Wonder why a very basic functionality which isn't natively available in genesys or am i missing something.

    P.S: With Unique Identifier column it only appends duplicate column but doesnt stop from uploading it.

    Hi Vikram,

    Great question.  I am not sure if there is a way to remove duplicates if you re-upload a contact list.  Could you not remove the duplicates externally before re-uploading?

    Hi Samuel,

    Apparently business would have a lot of data and its manual upload. So any number that they have already called, they dont want to get it updated.

    What are you using as Unique Identifier? It will append a record if the record exists in the contact list and something has changed to that record (given the identifier matches)

    Where are the leads with the same phone number coming from? It is the same address? Something else that makes them unique even if they have the same phone number?

    Hi Hermina,

    Currently using Phone Number column as Unique Identifier, which is appending (overwriting) as you said. But ideally as business would have a lot of data and its manual upload. Any number that they have already called, they don't want to get it updated.

    Got ya. So, why are the records that have been dialed already being uploaded again?

    I would assume if business is doing this manually, they are exporting the list, manipulating data and importing back again? If so, why would they not remove the already dialed records from the list before uploading back?

    They have the template with the same column names and as and when they get new leads they'll keep uploading on top leads in the campaign
