  • 1.  Delete Time off requests

    Hi!
    Is there any way to delete time off requests from Workforce Management -Time off request administration view (Genesys Cloud)?
    In the documentation about Time off request says that you can delete them, and there is also a specific permission:

    The following permissions:

    • Workforce Management > Time Off Requests > Add, Administer, Delete, Edit, and View
    However there is any topic related how to do it (delete) and in the interface (Time off request administration view) there is no option to delete: nor any button neither specific link as in other administration views.

    How could i complete this action in order to correct a mistake or to clean up some time off requests? the problem with this is that you cannot create a new one for the same date or period and you can do nothing in this point.

    Is there anything that i can be missing?

    You Deny the time off request in that case. The following transitions are allowed via the time off request admin view:

    - submitted -> Pending, Approved
    - Pending -> Approved, Denied
    - Approved -> Denied
    - Denied -> Approved
    - Canceled -> none

    Hi!
    Thank you very much for the answer.
    So, there is any way to remove time off requests from the view, is not there? Once you have create them, the time off request will keep on the view.

    No way for an end-user to delete. The view itself is generally set to view current and future dates so it isn't as if you see denied requests for all time in the view.

    You can also use the filter on the Status column to filter out denied requests.

    We also only keep a maximum number of requests per status per agent. https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/about-time-off-requests/:
    For each agent, the system retains and shows a maximum of the last:
      • 50 pending requests
      • 150 approved requests
      • 30 denied requests
      • 20 cancelled requests
