    I'm getting a 404 Not Found returned when trying to delete a contact from a Contact List.

    If I use Delete Contacts, I get a 200 back, but the contact is still in the list when I re-export and download it.

    When I use Delete Contact, I get a 404 Not Found.

    Correlation Id is: d35a89a6-1eb3-40a4-8992-0efe16839149

    Request is: https://developer.mypurecloud.com/developer-tools/#/api-explorer?share=N4IgDghgLgFiBcIAmBTANiqKDyBXKARgPa4B2SAwkaVBAMZRoCWAzlC1TfY61AJKVqtBhyHcBIADQgAtphhEkCZOkwopIXACcmygPQQwTPQDcATHpKES5PXTENmbFnuD2uDADK8BAXzsO7K7uwvxIvhqQWhAyAGoQaLgoLAigIdzebBKIZgAMABwAzPkEACy5ALSl+QBsKFUA7HRIFQCcAGYAjC1mnQ0ArBClEKhIdRrpDNkguaXDgw1mKIUodO0EnRA1nf0r/QStNQ0ESBD5EJ0gvr5AA==

    I opened a Support ticket. But, any time a Support ticket sees "API", I'm usually directed here. So, I thought I'd proactively look here for assistance.

    Thanks!

    I don't see anything wrong with that request. It looks to be failing correctly because it can't find a contact with the provided ID. I did notice, however, that the contact ID looks like a guid, but doesn't have any hyphens. Is the contact ID you're using exactly what's in the contact list? (e.g. 044a5a72e3ecfb1a6153e5b967bda8a1 vs 044a5a72-e3ec-fb1a-6153-e5b967bda8a1)

    Yes. In fact, if you download that contact list from PureCloud (060817 New) , you'll see that only the first four rows appear to have a valid GUID.

    Perhaps an issue with the platform? This id isn't something we generate. It should be provided when a contact is inserted, right?

    PureCloud will generate an ID for each contact if you do not provide one. This definitely sounds like a support issue since I don't see any evidence that you're doing anything incorrectly. I'd mention the dashes vs. no dashes issue to support as well. I don't know if that's actually an issue, but it seems suspicious.

    Sounds good - I'll let them know, and will let it run its course with Support.

    Thanks!
