  • 1.  Description of 'Bot Input Text' variable is misleading

    Hi all,

I wanted to build some logic in which application supplies variations of 'yes' or 'no' input utterances into bot and bot using 'Ask for Yes/No' block would return me a result. The reason I wanted to go that way was because 'Ask for Yes/No' already have good dictionary for confirmations and there would be no need to build Yes and No intents.

But what I figured out with experimental way is that 'Bot Input Text' input works only for 'Ask for slot'/'Ask for intent' blocks. Description says that it works for all 'Ask...' actions which I assumed include 'Ask for Yes/No'

    Hi Vitalii,

This may be worthy of a case with Customer Support to clarify if its the description or if the Ask action should work.  Be interesting to see if anyone else has go this to work or not though
