I am looking for event where we can get chat transcript for web messaging for embedded framework work. For chat it is getting on interaction.chatTranscript.messages but i dont find same with web messaging. Also can anybody explain how session works for webmessaging.

Are you referring to the action method named "Interaction.Chat.getTranscript" (https://developer.genesys.cloud/api/embeddable-framework/actions/Interaction/Chat/Interaction.Chat.getTranscript) and wondering if it would work for a web messaging transcript? That action currently supports a web chat transcript and not for a web messaging transcript.

As for how web messaging sessions work, are you talking about how messaging threading timeline works for web messaging? If so, the messaging threading timeline for web messaging works the same way as other messaging types. You can read more about how the threading timeline works here in this documentation (https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/acd-messages-overview/).

Today we don't have any embeddable framework API for getting a web messaging transcript.

There is, however, a Conversation API for retrieving web messages: https://developer.genesys.cloud/api/rest/v2/conversations/#post-api-v2-conversations-messages--conversationId--messages-bulk And it is possible to create a web messaging transcript using that conversation endpoint.
