Do you have any descriptive information on how and Edge appliance is managed via the PureCloud interface. What the actual network communications between the Edge(s) on the customer's internal network and the PureCloud Admin interface?
I've been searching. I have seen the Edge security information that describes how there in no "inbound" communication from PureCloud or Internet services to the internal Edge. And I've seen the Resource Center articles that discuss the secure communication and encryption. But my customer wants to know how this is accomplished. Since its outbound only communication attempts from their internal network, I assume the Edge appliance polls the paired PureCloud ORG periodically to see if there are any configuration changes, then downloads and applies them to the Edge when we make a change like add a trunk or configuration item. But do you have anything that will describe that for this customer that will put them at ease a bit more? And while you are at it, do you have anything that describes this for the WebRTC browser client? Thanks.
