  • 1.  Email response or Canned Responses and HTML

I am trying to determine if we can use existing html in an email (via or like a canned response)
Client has numerous signature .html files that they use in their existing product.

They want to be able to use them in Genesys Cloud when sending and email on behalf of a queue, etc.

Or is there a way to incorporate the .html files into the canned responses?

Has anyone dealt with this can provide some insight?

Currently, the canned responses offer RTF with a WYSISWYG tools, but not any scripting (aside from variable input) or code injection.  The format is simple HTML, so copying the HTML into the text box should format as the HTML on injection into the Email.  This is not the case for Chat until possibly the new Messaging features.

    Hi Brent,

This is what we built for a number of clients not to sure if it answers your question fully.

We have created an advanced canned response script application for marked down chat and email responses using Azure and Genesys Cloud scripts.
We built spaces for a division like approach in Azure where the client can add or take away queues per division they create. The client has full control over creating divisions with queues as well as controlling what responses get added or taken away from a division. The client is also in full control of the order of the files presented to the agent.

    Kind Regards
