    Hello guys,

I have a webservice datadip action to invoke a WebService on a IIS running W2008R2. The webservices has been tested in Postman but when trying to run from an IVR I have the following error:

The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.

    Any clue?

    Tks,

    Mario

    Hi Mario,

Since this is an issue with a self-signed certificate I believe that you need to do something to the effect of importing the public version of the self-signing certificate as a trusted root certificate on to your bridge server. I don't have the steps for how to do that handy.

Where can I get the steps?

As a first step, if you try to hit the web service via a browser on the bridge server, do you get a security warning about the certificate?

Searching google for "windows import a self-signed certificate" brought up this as the first result:

    https://pubs.vmware.com/flex-1/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.horizon.flex.admin.doc%2FGUID-4F29CCE6-2F04-461D-81EF-C1480B1A8E84.html

It seems like the right idea if both machines are running windows. AFAIK getting self-signed certificates to work is outside of Genesys documentation and support. You may have to work with the web service developer and/or whoever maintains the domain to get the certificate situation in order.

    Jason,

Forgot telling you that the IIS is running on the same BridgeServer.

    Hi Mario,

If the various suggestions Becky and I gave you don't resolve this then please open up a case with Customer Care to continue troubleshooting.
