    Dear colleagues,
     
    I would like to put again the question about the External contacts. In a previous discussion I described difficulties I have trying to import contacts in a specific already existing Organization   Genesys Cloud - Main - Genesys I didn`t get any solution however.
    What happenned also with Division awared External contacts? Мy expectation was that by the end of October, it should be ready. But we don`t have this feature yet.

    Hi Borislav,

    The idea Division awareness: external contacts is expected to release in the coming weeks.

    With regards to your issue of importing external contacts, if you are following the process documented here and are still having issues, I would recommend open a support case with customer care to investigate the issue further.

    Unfortunately, it looks like the Divisional control for External Contacts has been delayed.  I don't show a delivery data at this time.

    For the import issues, what issue are you having?  Is it the Account information?

    Hi Robert,

    We had communication about this already here: Genesys Cloud - Main - Genesys 

    When I try to important contacts in already existing Organisation, a new organisation with the same name is being created and the imported contacts are in this new organisation.

    Dear colleagues,

    I have a new information for you. When you create an Organization via IMPORT, you put some Account Name, Account Id and some Contacts in CSV file. If you want to make a new bulk IMPORT of new Contacts in this already created Organization, you can use Account Name and Account Id from the first import and everything will be OK. You will see the newly created Contacts in the existing Organization. But now I have another issue. I don`t know this Account Id for some old Organizations. When I try to get this information via API (GET /api/v2/externalcontacts/organizations), I get Orhanization Id and this is not obviously Account Id I need. So I cannot use any information I get via API.

    I made some screenshots to illustrate issue, but I don`t know, how to add them here.

    hello everyone,
    I'm joining this thread to ask for help regarding the new segmentation feature on external contact divisions.
    I removed from my role the permissions that allowed me to see contacts from all divisions, but I continue to see external contacts even if they are not from my division or on which I have visibility.
    am I missing something?
    also, in the contact/organization card where do I see the division they belong to?
