  • 1.  Extract the call flows from Architect

    Hi,

Looking for advise on hwo best to extract the call flows from Architect for management. I tried to use the call flow Visualiser tool but it shows everything on the extract when i only need the basics (almost what you see in Architect) for people to be able to see and follow the flow.

    Thanks

    Hello Jacquie,

I don't believe that we currently have different way to view call flows natively outside of Genesys Cloud. I was looking at the Product Ideas Lab and I didn't see any Ideas that fully matched what you were looking for. If you would like to to make an enhancement request for Genesys Cloud, Genesys encourages you to register your request through the Product Ideas Lab.

To Access the Product Ideas Lab and add your idea:

    1. Sign in to the Genesys Knowledge Network.
    2. On the Product Ideas Lab section, click Browse and Submit Ideas.
    3. From the Product Ideas Lab, click Add a Product Idea.

You can also view and vote for existing ideas.

Have you seen this post from a few years back? This was a 3rd party tool that a Community member was maintaining for some time. It might be what you're looking for.

I was playing around with Google Gemini a couple weeks ago in regards to this. I gave it the YAML export of one of my flows and asked it to make me a chart. It generated a pretty nice looking chart in Mermaid Chart. I wasn't familiar with it before that. It looks like an interesting tool, though. Gemini actually summarized my flow very nicely. It just showed the basic call flow while hiding some of the more complex logic that Attendant used to accomplish it. I'm guessing you could get it to show you more/less detail if you adjust your prompt. I haven't had time to experiment further.

I tried with Perplexity and ChatGPT and both were pretty hideous

Hi Jacquie, we're working on something that does exactly this right now. It's not ready for release yet but I'd be happy to show you how it works and give you some of the outputs that you can share with your management if that's any help. Just let me know.
