  • 1.  Facebook Messenger - deleting messages in Facebook

    A customer of mine recently deployed Facebook Messenger integration into their Genesys Cloud instance.
    They only want to keep copies of the conversations in Genesys Cloud and not Facebook.
    Do you know if there is a setting/policy in Facebook that can auto delete conversations in Facebook after a defined period.

    I cant find anything helpful via Google and there is nothing obviuos in the Facebook Page messenger settings.

    Each person who has a FB login and sends the business a message has control over their own personal data. I don't know of a way to delete someone else's FB messages, and it doesn't seem like a capability that would be available.
