Hello, Getting more and more requests to delete / Anonymise all data older then 6 months (for example). Is there a way to do this with help of API? ANI is the most important.

    Kind regards, James

    Hi James,

We do have an API for GDPR in the public API. You can find information about what we support for GDP here:

    Hi John!

    Thanks :)

To my understanding the GDPR API need a single specific target for each request. Don't believe it would work.

The customer wants to purge all customer data older than 6 months. I don't need a code, but would be great to know if it's possible to do through API.

    Kind regards, James

    Hi James,

Let me dig into this a little further. I doubt we have what we you asking for in terms of terming customer data after X months, but I can least find out how the product manager is and direct your inquiry towards them.

    Thanks, John

Some tooling already exists around customer-defined retention policies, specifically around recordings: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/create-recording-policy/

In the next 1-2 months we are adding tooling around customer-defined retention policies for internal chat.

Going forward we are also looking at customer-defined retention policies for other types of data.
