  • 1.  Genesys API always returns all the intervals time in a day?

    Hi , Community , I need your confirmation in answer that I think is correct for a question from a customer:

    Question: Does Genesys return all the intervals in a day? e.g. if granularity is 30 minutes, are all 48 intervals( 24 x 2) in a day returned regardless if there is data or not?   

    So, My answer after some investigations that I did is the next :

    No, Genesys Cloud does not return intervals where no data exists for the specified filters.

    When using the Genesys cloud API endpoints, intervals are returned only if there is at least one interaction or event that matches your filters during that interval. If an agent had no activity (e.g., no conversations, no routing events, etc.) in a 30-minute period, that interval will simply not appear in the JSON response.

    So, Genesys Cloud does not return interval time without data , even when the query is for users metrics , that is to say , if an user did not have any activity that generates data for the requested metrics during an specified interval time , that block of time does not appear in the JSON response.

    Can one of you please in the community confirm that my point of view in the answer is correct?
