  • 1.  Genesys Cloud AI Studio and Guides - where is it?

    I received a marketing email "announcing" AI Studio and Guides.  None of the links in it lead anywhere other than to more marketing and sales pipeline flowsw.  Since I'm already a paying Genesys customer, I think that's a bit silly, so I'm asking how these feature are enabled.

    1. Are they vapor?  The marketing page specifically says "no more vapor" and then proceeds to provide exactly that
    2. Is there a permission controlling them?  If so, which one?
    3. Is this another add-on license?  We're on CX3, but have yet to enable tokens (another nightmare process, btw).

    Generally, watching marketing videos is not how I prefer to learn about features.  Building with them is.

    I recommend consult this and any incoming news with your Genesys representative instead of marketing papers. Regarding AI capabilities as far as I know the CX4 license is needed to allow you to use AI stack with preconfigured tokens. Also recommend to check whether your native langugae is currently supported in case it is not english

    AI Studio and Guides is due for release from this Monday with the normal regional rollout. These are AI Tokens based features and more details will be in the links on the release notes. AI Studio is the top level feature with Guides and Customizable Summaries within it.

    CX4 is not required to enable AI Tokens, it's "just" an amendment to your subscription but dependent on the contract that may be more complex.
