Dear community,
we're trying to use the GPlus adapter to connect a ServiceNow instance, but the official documentation is not clear on some aspects:
In the openframe setup after installing the GPlus adapter, the below configuration is defined.
But we cannot find that app.js mentioned in the documentation.
Actually in other Genesys official site (https://all.docs.genesys.com/GASN/Current/Admin/Config), the information is sightly different:
Description The full Genesys Engage Cloud GWS toolkit url including full path to api.js.
AWS: https://[ServiceNow Instance]/ui/wwe/api.js Azure: https://[ServiceNow Instance]/api.js
As you can see, now the api.js file should be stored in the ServiceNow instance, but it is not.
Our questions regarding this topic are:
- Can you please help us on understanding this step?
- How can we get that app.js and from where?
Regarding the connector itself:
- Is required a 3rd party connector to successfully complete the integration with ServiceNow or can we do it by our own using free resources?
- Anyone of you have successfully installed and configured this connector?
- Is possible to use only PEF (Private Embeddable Framework) to integrate Genesys with ServiceNow?
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hello,
This forum is specific to the Genesys Cloud platform. Genesys Cloud is a different platform than Genesys Engage Premise and Cloud.
PEF (PureCloud/Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework) is only available with Genesys Cloud - not with Genesys Engage.
