I have a site ( Genesys Communicate ) that uses Poly VVX 150 phones ( instead of webphone ) , they have 2 DID numbers and three phones and they want the inbound calls to the DID numbers to ring on all three phones . Apparently ,I can't assign numbers to multiple phones so I have created a Group and I have the users assigned to the group . If I call the individual user , the assigned phone rings as expected . However , if I call the DID and rout the call thru the IVR to the group , the phones never ring , after about 30 seconds , the group mailbox answers . I have added an extension number to the Poly phones but they still don't ring .
I have built a similar group at another site that uses webphone , the group call works perfect .
Sorry , old school Nortel guy trying to learn the smoke and mirrors of this cloud stuff :-)
Any thoughts or words of wisdom ?
