  • 1.  Hide 'Profile' icon/panel in Interactions view

    Hi All,

    Just wondering if there's a way to hide the 'Profile' icon-panel in the Interactions view?

    We don't want agents to use the Profile option when actioning an interaction (so not adding or verify a profile) - but we still need the staff to access the External Contacts from the Directory.

    I've removed the permission 'externalContacts > conversation > associate' which at least stops the user from being able to verify a profile, but there doesn't seem to be a way to hide the Profile panel/icon entirely.

    It looks like the only other option is to remove permission 'externalContacts > contact > view' - however we still need to access the External Contacts through the Directory.

    I'm assuming it's not possible from what I've found - just wanted to confirm.

    Unfortunately as you have discovered, these permissions cross function.  I looked and did not see anything on the roadmap, but this idea is close:  Disable or hide profile search | Genesys Cloud Ideas Lab (aha.io)
