Good evening,
i'm trying to implement that scenario, but it seems that isn't working as i'm expecting, perhaps it's all correct from PC perspective..
I've three SUBSCRIBER exposed from 2 different Call Manager
- Subscriber 1 and subscriber 2 are in SITE A
- Subscriber 3 is in SITE B
what i'm trying to do, is that for every outbound call sent from Edge, a load balancing is obtained between Subscriber 1 and Subscriber 2, and in case both aren't available, the call must be directed to Subscriber3.
I've tried to implement that configuration:
- two subscriber 1 and 3 are in External Trunk A, as two different SIP Server or Proxy
- subscriber 2 in configured in External Trunk B
- i've configured one SITE, where External Trunk A and B are configured as RANDOM
in that case, it seems that External Trunk A use only the subscriber 3, also if both are available, and also if i've put the subscriber 1 as first in the list; load balancing is working well in the SITE configuration.
How SIP Server Proxy are choosen in the External Group? There is an alphabetical order used?
Many thanks in advance...
Alessandro
