We are using the Purecloud API to create and update contact lists, then using campians to sort the lists, write to them and based on rules, mark contacts uncallable.
When the campaign recycles, it will filter out uncallable, so you could have 0/100 in the campaign but the list could have 200+, the diff is uncallable.
How big can contacts lists get before we will see performance issues? We plan on purging uncallables after a set amount of time, or certain size. Curious if anyone has any feedback.

I asked around and there's not currently a known size limit. However, for a frame of reference, some internal tests use 800,000 contacts with 5 columns in a single list. The upload file size is around 100 MB.
