    Hi, I would like to add some additional options for Polycom phones so I need to add some additional parameters into provisioning files. 
    Do you know how I can achieve it?

    My support engineer told me that I should ask here or on the Developers forum (Case# 0002500320), so I'm here.

    Thanks, Braiden for your sharing I hope that it is not the last answer in this topic. New VVX have got a lot of good features not enabled by default, I hope that it is possible to do it. 

    Probably there is a provisioning temporary folder on Edge - maybe this is one way to find the solution.

    We resorted to provisioning the phone in PureCloud once using DHCP options, then manually updating the firmware and configuration on each phone. This allowed us to enable features such as power saving, dual-line setup to support SfB/Teams conferencing, etc. PureCloud continues to work fine as the phone features it uses remain intact. Not sure how edge failure scenarios would work though, as the phones are out of PureCloud control.
    Unfortunately, this approach does not scale and we will need to purchase a provisioning tool to accommodate company growth.

    Hello Rafal,

    Managed phones within PureCloud are a balance between ease of implementation and management and number of phone-specific features supported.  As you are aware, we do support many advanced phone features we certainly do not cover all of them.

    Please submit Ideas portal requests which contain the specific functionality you would like to see supported by PureCloud in the future.  Product Management values this feedback and takes it into consideration when prioritizing new work.

    Right...there is no feature in PureCloud that lets you supply a custom phone configuration file. Only what you see in Phone Management is what is available.

    There is only one idea on the Ideas Lab that seems close (for AudioCodes) https://purecloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CLPLA-I-427 so you might want to create a new idea and campaign for votes.

    Let's use a custom Phone Configuration field or Phone templates (base settings) and separate options by manufacturers (Polycom, AudioCodes, other approved by Genesys)

    Example:
    [Audiocodes|Polycom].[Custom feature function just like in configuration file]

    Polycom.up.OffHookIdleBrowserView.enabled
    Audiocodes.voip/audio/echo_cancellation/enabled

    Another idea is to add the possibility to access to own S3 bucket and download it as an additional config file.

    Let's merge two ideas into one. What do you think?
